The Blue Skin Montipora is a fast-growing branching Montipora Digitata and is one of the most popular varieties in the home aquarium. Often confused the the Bubblegum digitata, this one has a green base skin, rather than the Bubblegums blue.

It is an SPS coral (small polyp stony) with long, very brittle branches and tips.

Montipora Digitata are found in a variety of different colourations, including Red, Purple and green. These are a very fragile, but visually appealing coral that will add both an interesting growth pattern and vivid colour to any reef aquarium.

This coral needs good lighting and moderate flow to maintain optimum health.

In addition to this, it will also require the correct levels of Calcium, Alkalinity, and Magnesium along with various other trace elements found in natural seawater.

Additional feeding isn't required to maintain its health however it will feed on micro-plankton and very fine coral foods.
