Paly Grandis are a charmingly named member of the hugely popular palythoa family. This family come in a wide range of colour variations and are usually a pretty good beginner coral. 

Frags of this coral have been growing under LED lights for a while

Under these, they have flourished with both rapid growth and good colouration.  

It is a soft coral with a which brown and green a disk, with brown lashes 

This coral can tolerate lower lighting, and moderate flow is advised to maintain optimum health, the flow is important because it will keep detritus from settling on them 

In addition to this, it will also require the correct levels of Calcium, Alkalinity, and Magnesium along with various other trace elements found in natural seawater.

Additional feeding isn't required to maintain its health, as they get the majority of their food from photosynthesis.

Zoas have a very mixed response with regards to feeding additional foods, where some types can't get enough, while others show virtually no response at all.  

Please be aware that these corals can be incredibly toxic and touching them and then touching your eyes or mouth can cause a severe reaction  

Care Level - Easy

Flow - Moderate,

Lighting - Lower end but can tolerate a wide range of lighting

Temperament - Peaceful, however they have been known to shade out and grow over other coral
