Fascination Favia
The Fascination Favia is one of the most desirable members of the Favia family.
Its polyps colouration consist of a Red centre, surrounded by a gold and then another green ring.
It prefers medium to low light, therefore it is ideally placed in the mid to low areas of the tank
It is an LPS coral (Large polyp stony) which has some of the most diverse and striking colouration of any coral.
Although correct lighting and flow is important, its also wise to take into consideration Calcium, Alkalinity, and Magnesium along with various other trace elements found in natural seawater.
Additional feeding isn't required to maintain its health however it will feed on micro-plankton and very fine coral foods.
Be sure not to place it too close to other corals as at night it will release its sweeper tentacles which are approximately 1cm long.
