Mr Freeze Leptoseris
The Mr Freeze Leptoseris is one of the lesser known members of the Leptoseris family.
It is an LPS coral (Large polyp stony) which looks surprisingly similar to an SPS coral at first glance, with a very light blue/green base and bright almost white mouths
This coral has been grown under LED's and appears to be doing quite well.
One thing to point out is they don't like being handled and can lose coloration for a few weeks when moved. Once settle though they can have a rapid growth rate
This coral needs appropriate lighting, with mine appearing to prefer shady areas and moderate flow to maintain optimum health.
In addition to this, it will also require the correct levels of Calcium, Alkalinity, and Magnesium along with various other trace elements found in natural seawater.
Additional feeding isn't required to maintain its health however it will feed on micro-plankton and very fine coral foods.
Care Level - Moderate

Temperament - Short stinging polyps
Frags of this coral are 2cm, and are glued to frag plugs
