NY Knicks Torch Coral (Branching)
This NY Knicks coral is one of the most desirable branching members of the Euphyllia family.
It is an LPS coral (Large polyp stony) with long robust branches, each adorned with a single swaying polyp
Euphyllia's are found in a variety of different colourations and polyp shapes, which include Frogspawn, Hammer and Torch corals.
They are a good beginner LPS species, as they are generally hardy and in the right conditions, fast growers.
This coral needs good lighting and indirect moderate flow to maintain optimum health.
Too much flow can easily damage this coral.
In addition to this, it will also require the correct levels of Calcium, Alkalinity, and Magnesium along with various other trace elements found in natural seawater.
Additional feeding isn't required to maintain its health however it will feed on larger meatier foods as well as micro-plankton and fine coral foods.
