Sunkist Bounce Mushroom
Sunkist Bounce mushrooms are one of the most desirable members of the Rhodactis family and even more specifically the bounce mushroom family.
Rhodactis come in a wide range of different sizes, shapes and colour variations.
This coral is one of the newer pieces to my collection, coming all the way from mainland Europe at the start of 2019 and so far I've only grown it under LED's
They are very hardy and an ideal candidate for propagation in the home aquarium, with my original specimen having survived multiple frag sessions
This coral prefers lower lighting, and lower flow.
High levels of light can cause the coral to retract and too much flow may cause them to release themselves from the rockwork and float around the tank, looking for a more appropriate location to settle.
In addition to this, it will also require the correct levels of Calcium, Alkalinity, and Magnesium along with various other trace elements found in natural seawater.
Additional feeding isn't required to maintain its health, as they get the majority of their food from photosynthesis. However, they will eat both small and large food items.
Care Level - Easy
Flow - Low
Lighting - Lower end but can tolerate a wide range of lighting
Temperament - Peaceful
